Most of us have a lot of things to do, whether at work or at home. We may feel overwhelmed by our responsibilities and don’t know where to start. It's easy to lose motivation and to give up when this happens. So how do you motivate yourself when you're stuck in a rut?
Think about the things that make you happy and bring joy!
As humans, we all need some reward for everything we do. Whether receiving praise from others or feeling proud for having accomplished something new. If no reward is attached to our actions, then what's the point?
What is the Self-Rewarding Challenge?
The Self-Rewarding Challenge sparks joy, boosts motivation and inspires others. It's simple. Post a social media picture or video of yourself rewarding yourself for doing something good.

If you want to join the challenge, here are some ideas for how you can reward yourself:
Buy yourself flowers (or whatever flower makes you happy).

Buy yourself a new book to read! Or, if you're at home, go ahead and read one of your old favorites.
Take yourself out for lunch or dinner. You deserve it!
Buy yourself a new outfit (or some other clothing item).

You can also choose how long your challenge lasts. A day? A week? A month? Longer than that? This flexibility makes it easy for anyone to get started on their terms. At the same time, it helps to achieve one's goals over time.
