How Sugar and Alcohol Hijacked My Millionaire Habits

I love holidays.
Relaxation, sunshine, and quality time with loved ones are amazing.
But there’s a hidden trap.
My recent vacation was eye-opening.
Normally, I stick to my millionaire habits.
These include meditation, journaling, breathwork, exercise, and healthy eating.
But this vacation, things slipped.
I ate sugar.
I drank alcohol.
I skipped my daily routines.
The results shocked me.
My Oura Ring clearly showed the impact.
Today, I'll show you exactly what happened and why you should care.
After a week of vacation, my body was stressed.
My Oura Ring measured high physiological stress.
Usually, I'm calm and balanced.
But sugar and alcohol changed everything.

Before vacation, I was comfortably in the top-left.
During vacation, I dropped sharply to the bottom-right.
My body was in a state of overload.
This showed me something important.
Breaking millionaire habits doesn’t just feel bad.
It physically stresses your body.
II. My Stress Levels Went Through the Roof
Look at the second image from my Oura app.

It tracks my daily average stress hours.
Normally, my stress levels are low.
But during calendar week 16 (my vacation week), stress skyrocketed.
I experienced an average of 5 hours of stress every single day.
All from breaking my usual habits.
It was a clear message.
Your habits shape your body’s stress response.
When you stray from healthy routines, your body pays the price.
III. Elevated Heart Rate and Poor Sleep
The third image shows my resting heart rate.

Typically, my heart rate rests at 58 beats per minute.
During vacation, it spiked to 66 beats per minute.
This isn’t just numbers.
A higher resting heart rate means your body is stressed.
And more stress means less recovery.
My deep sleep also got worse.
Good sleep is critical for productivity.
But sugar and alcohol destroyed my sleep quality.
This affected my mood and energy.
IV. Why This Matters to You

Now I'm back home.
And I’m getting back to my powerful routines:

Exercise: to boost mood, energy, and physical health.
I’m also eating clean again.
Within days, I’ve already noticed improvements.
My heart rate dropped.
My sleep quality improved.
Stress levels reduced dramatically.
